BRS is a baggage reconciliation system used in major airports to match passengers with their luggage, ensuring operational efficiency and security. At TAV Technologies, I redesigned BRS with a focus on simplifying workflows, surfacing only critical issues, and improving navigation across the system.
Through field observations and interviews with baggage staff, we discovered that users cared only about errors, not healthy states, and needed faster access to flight and bag information. We redesigned dashboards to reduce noise, streamlined scan flows with clearer feedback, and improved search and navigation for critical tasks.

This project reinforced the value of designing for real operational contexts—where time pressure, stress, and environmental challenges shape how tools are used.
